Ian S. Brundige is an interdisciplinary artist and storyteller from The Region (Northwest Indiana) working across media, identity, and borders. He has always lived in the space between binaries (urban Chicago and rural Indiana, for example).
Ian has a background in journalism and museum studies completing video and written projects on the impacts of COVID-19; city-wide reading initiatives in his hometown of Hammond, In; and exhibition projects focused on the environment and identity.
Ian is excited to be a CAC 2026 curatorial resident, deepening his curatorial practice in the Chicago community.
