Dana was born and raised in Chicago, where she grew up immersed in the arts. This interest is what led her to pursue a career in the field upon returning to Chicago after college. Dana received a BA in History, with a concentration in Narrative Journalism from Denison University. There, she worked at the Denison Museum as a Collections and Exhibitions Intern, wrote for the Digital Strategy Team in University Communications, and interned with publications like Columbus Monthly and Story Magazine. Dana initially joined the CAC team as a Special Events and Programming Intern in 2022.
