Event Overview

CAC’s Professional Development series works to uncover subjects critical to professional artists outside of making art. Rooted in our core values of knowledge-sharing and building community, this 2-hr seminar will include plenty of Q&A time. Bring your experience and your questions to the group! Email us your questions in advance.

What does it take to build a healthy financial plan? In this presentation, Anna and Kendall will break down how to protect yourself financially, while also growing wealth efficiently. Topics include building an emergency fund, creating a budget that works with variable income, insurance protection, and long-term wealth strategies. You will walk away feeling empowered and ready to take control of your financial future!

Anna Goldman became a financial advisor because she knows what it feels like to want security and not know where to begin. Growing up around wealth but not having it herself gave her a unique perspective. She sees how access, education, and encouragement can change a person’s entire financial path. Her purpose is to help people who’ve been overlooked or intimidated by finance understand that they, too, can build wealth and confidence. Her diverse background as a professional dancer, acupuncturist and meditation instructor allows her to intersect with and understand many traditional and untraditional occupations, broadening the landscape of clients that she serves with understanding and compassion.

As a former music educator, Kendall Bregenzer finds it essential to serve her community and help people. Serving as an advisor at Northwestern Mutual in Chicago allows her to teach others about financial planning and assist them in achieving their financial goals. Kendall loves to partner with business owners and fellow creatives to help them build their financial future while also supporting their craft and their passion. She is a Chicago native who loves to travel and experience the joys of life without having to worry about financial stability and wants to help others do the same. Her personal mission statement is “to live every day with absolute joy by building meaningful relationships and constantly growing into the best version of herself.” Kendall lives in the western Chicago suburbs with her husband Jordan and their corgi named Rookie. Kendall started at the firm in January of 2022. She now serves as a Growth and Development Director at the Rosemont office and has a vision of becoming a Managing Director for the firm and leading a team of advisors.
