Kia Miakka Natisse

Kia Miakka Natisse is an artist and storyteller interested in identity and the narrative form.

She experiments with narrative forms and modes to construct both linear and non-linear narratives about the self. She has a B.A. in journalism from Howard University, and a M.A. in transmedia storytelling from New York University. Her work has been exhibited at The Kitchen, Banff Centre and the Hyde Park Arts Center.  She also runs an experimental publishing company called Group Project. A native of Buffalo, N.Y., Kia Miakka Natisse currently lives and works in Chicago.
