Join Chartwell Collectors Circle for a tour of the Judy Saslow collection, veteran dealer of international outsider art and founding member of Intuit.
The heart and soul of the collection is a group of Bill Traylor paintings and drawings, the largest in private hands. Carefully assembled over the course of 35 years, this collection is studied by specialists and academics, and will support the upcoming monumental exhibition of Traylor’s work organized by the Smithsonian American Art Museum in 2018.
The collection also includes works by Nathan Lerner, Tony Fitzpatrick, Milton Avery, Claes Oldenburg, Alexander Calder, Roger Brown, Henry Darger, Edmond Engel, Michel Nedjar, Madge Gill, as well as an eclectic mix of Pre-Columbian and Native artifacts.
Open to Chartwell Collectors Circle members only. Limited availability, RSVP required.
