Jovencio de la Paz is an artist and educator who lives and works in Chicago. His installations, performances and site-specific gestures have been exhibited both nationally and internationally, most recently at the Museum of Contemporary Craft in Portland, Oregon; the Cranbrook Art Museum in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan; and The Uri Gallery in Seoul, South Korea. Jovencio de la Paz is a faculty member at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in the department of fiber and material studies. De la Paz is also co-founder of Craft Mystery Cult.
