A.B.C – Art.Business.Create is CAC’s professional development program that equips artists with the essential skills to guide them through a complex, business-savvy marketplace. Professional development is at the core of CAC’s work since all artists need and deserve training on how to earn a living and sustain their profession.

This program consists of in-person workshops, webinars and other online resources that cover such topics as legal rights and protections, new technologies, tax and record keeping, marketing, business planning, proposal writing, networking and much more. The training is relevant to artists of all ages and career levels, multiple disciplines and creative industries, and who are in need of a variety of entrepreneurial skills.

Registration fees for select A.B.C offerings help cover direct program expenses, including speaker honoraria, materials and other production costs. Individuals who are artist members or current residents in a CAC program receive free or discounted registration.
